Overnight Caregiver in Clyde
Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to help others and contribute positively to their quality of life. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of those you care for, while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.
Duties
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Help with mobility assistance, including transferring clients to and from wheelchairs or beds.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Support clients with transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or social events.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress.
Requirements
• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans effectively.
• Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility needs and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass background checks as required by law.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
