Position Overview As an Outdoor Sales Development Representative at blithequark, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our life-changing Pre-K - 8th Grade Career Discovery programs to educators and school districts across the US. This is a remote position, but occasional in-person visits to school sites will be required. You'll be working in the Pacific Standard Time zone, with a schedule that typically spans Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to work on weekends as needed. The ideal candidate is a proactive and passionate communicator with a proven track record in sales or customer service. You'll be engaging with potential customers over the phone and in outdoor settings, building relationships, and identifying new sales opportunities. Your ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team will be crucial to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities Engage with educators and school districts to introduce blithequark's innovative programs and understand their goals for their students. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects through effective communication and follow-up. Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate efforts, schedule appointments, and provide support. Utilize CRM software to manage lead information, track interactions, and update the sales pipeline. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities. Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you'll need: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, with recent college graduates having 1-2 years of sales experience considered. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, although not mandatory, is highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. A proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving sales targets and goals. The ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. While candidates from California are preferred for this role, we're open to considering applicants from other states as well.
