Come swim with us! We’re seeking an Outbound Product Manager to help shape and communicate the story of DigitalOcean ’s migration offerings. You’ll be the voice of our customers, ensuring our migration tools are clearly positioned, deeply understood, and widely adopted. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for a critical area of our product. You will work closely with product management, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to articulate product value, develop engaging content, and drive successful product launches and adoption initiatives. This is a highly cross-functional role—you’ll work with product, marketing, sales, and support to help developers and businesses confidently move to DigitalOcean . Your messaging will bridge the technical and the practical, driving awareness and adoption of our migration solutions. What You’ll Be Doing: Define and lead go-to-market strategies for our migration products and services. Work with marketing, sales, and product teams to craft compelling messaging that resonates with developers and technical buyers. Use customer feedback, competitive insights, and usage data to shape product positioning and drive adoption. Enable internal teams with the content and tools needed to support successful migrations at scale. Measure the impact of launches and iterate on messaging and strategy based on results. What We'll Expect From You: 8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related customer-facing role in the tech industry. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, developer tools, or platform migrations. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, especially for technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive alignment across teams. Experience with customer and market research, competitive analysis, and messaging development. Analytical mindset with a focus on measuring impact and optimizing outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. While the philosophy around our benefits is the same worldwide, specific benefits may vary based on local regulations and preferences. We reward our employees. The salary range for this position is $176,000.00 - $220,000 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program. We value diversity and inclusion.
