Outbound Advertising Executive
Who we are: Plano Moms is an Online Moms community. We keep Moms in and near Plano, TX updated with Events, and new and favorite Fun Things to Do, and help them find our Recommendations on Camps, Classes, Kid-friendly Restaurants, Spas, Salons, Shopping, Parks, Play, Health and Fitness places, Preschools, Childcare, and much, much more. We have a website, email newsletters, and a very active community on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. Position Overview: • This is a newly created contract position (1099-issued) to sell advertising space and manage advertising campaigns. • You’ll need fast Wi-fi access and a laptop/PC of your own. • The initial contract is for 3 months, with a renewal period of an additional 6 months thereafter. • Training will be provided. • You will be available to start in November 2025. • You may work from home, but you must be available for calls, as needed Who you are: • You are fun, flexible, reliable, and organized. • You will genuinely LOVE interacting with people (even virtually or on the phone), and networking, and have a natural charisma. • You are available during business hours for 12 hours per week (at least). • You are self-disciplined, able to develop ideas, and use initiative to solve problems. • You are savvy with technology and have an attention to detail. • You are curious and think outside of the box. • You are goal-driven and motivated by commission-based selling. • You have an affinity with our audience - we are Moms serving other Moms • You have Sales Experience - Online Advertising is a Plus! • You live in or are close to Plano, TX. Requirements: • Hours: 10 hours per week at least. • You will be awarded 40% of the Total Revenue in commission that you bring in Your Responsibilities: • You will be researching, finding leads (from other local media adverts), and building relationships with Local Businesses and Brands, and sometimes their agencies (PR or media) • You’ll be reaching out, getting to know them, understanding their goals, and working with them to ensure that the advertising budget they spend gives them a great ROI. • You will be shaping the quality of their listings, and you’ll be trained to collect the right content from them. The quality of their listings and the placement they purchase will dictate the effectiveness of the advertising ROI. • You will be making proposals, booking their listings, ensuring payment is collected, contracts are signed, reporting is done, and they are happy! • You’ll be managing and checking that the listings are well placed and providing reports to our advertisers at each campaign period.
