OTC Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives Analyst
Tempe, AZ (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
95-125K + Bonus + Paid Relocation
OTC Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives Analyst ensures all relevant processing and maintenance functions are completed accurately within prescribed timeframes and in accordance with established departmental procedures.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Draft and review ISDA paper confirmations for Interest Rate products.
ā¢ Process/review Markitwire (electronic) confirmations for Interest Rate products.
ā¢ Process/review TradeServ (electronic) confirmations for Credit Derivatives.
ā¢ Ensure all documentation complies with ISDA and market practice.
ā¢ Interact with Counterparty, Front Office and Legal as needed to resolve confirmation issues.
ā¢ Ensure the tracking of outstanding confirmations is recorded and reported to management.
ā¢ Respond to internal and external inquiries timely and with professionalism.
ā¢ Understand the roles and responsibilities of other units we deal with and effectively interface with those units when required.
ā¢ Work with the team and assist with ad-hoc requests and project related tasks.
ā¢ Participate in user acceptance testing for systems upgrades, database conversions and introduction of new systems.
ā¢ Provide training to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Proficiency of ISDA Interest Rate Derivatives Definitions.
ā¢ 5-7 years of Interest Rate Documentation experience within a banking/investment banking environment.
ā¢ High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; must be able to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities; strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written); proficient at Microsoft Excel and Word; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to quickly adapt to change and work in a deadline-oriented environment; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ā¢ Bachelor's Degree required.
