Oracle PL / SQL Developer
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Boston, MA. Key Tasks: • Oracle PL/SQL Developer will lead the design and implementation of robust, high-performance database solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions • Drive engineering best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement • As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will participate in code reviews, design sessions, and performance tuning efforts • Support production systems, including participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation* Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Oracle OCI) are a bonus • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PLSQL, including performance tuning, data modeling, and API development • Strong experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) and batch job schedulers (e.g., Autosys) • Experience with ATDD, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with distributed replication technologies (e.g., Oracle GoldenGate, EDB Replication) • Familiarity with Java, messaging systems, and web containers • Exposure to other database platforms (Postgres, Snowflake, MS SQL Server, etc.) is a plus • Strong Linux shell scripting and performance monitoring skills • Proven ability to design scalable, resilient systems using cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake, S3 preferred) • Experience with Oracle RAC, Exadata, and engineered systems is highly desirable Apply tot his job
