Oracle PL / SQL Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join an Agile development team in a fast-paced Oracle EBS environment.
The role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting custom Oracle EBS technical components.
The candidate will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-performing solutions and will also support team development through mentoring and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Support PL/SQL development within an Agile Oracle EBS development environment.
ā¢ Design, develop, test, debug, and document custom Oracle EBS technical components.
ā¢ Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
ā¢ Train team members and mentor junior developers to enhance overall development capabilities.
ā¢ Use Oracle Analytic functions to build high-performance SQL queries.
ā¢ Apply SQL performance tuning techniques using Explain Plans, indexes, optimizer hints, SQL profiles, and related tools.
ā¢ Work with Oracle Concurrent Manager setups including program/executable definitions and request set configurations.
ā¢ Manage Oracle EBS components such as menus, functions, responsibilities, lookups, value sets, profile options, and request groups.
ā¢ Utilize Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for API setup and configuration.
ā¢ Work with Oracle CRM entities including resources, roles, groups, and hierarchies.
ā¢ Apply knowledge of Oracle SOA Gateway, REST/SOAP architectures, and JSON data formats.
ā¢ Use tools such as Bitbucket, Rally, and STAT for code migration.
ā¢ Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprints, retrospectives, and user story grooming.
Required Qualifications
ā¢ Experience as a technical team member in an Oracle EBS development environment.
ā¢ Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
ā¢ Exceptional proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
ā¢ Experience using Oracle Analytic functions for high-performance SQL development.
ā¢ Strong SQL performance tuning experience using Explain Plans, indexes, optimizer hints, and SQL profiles.
ā¢ Expertise in setting up and configuring Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) APIs.
ā¢ Experience working with Oracle Concurrent Manager frameworks and configurations.
ā¢ Knowledge of menus, responsibilities, functions, lookups, value sets, profile options, and request groups in Oracle EBS.
ā¢ Familiarity with Oracle CRM entities and underlying data structures.
ā¢ High-level understanding of Oracle SOA Gateway, REST/SOAP API architectures, and JSON formats.
ā¢ Experience with Agile development processes.
ā¢ Experience with tools such as Bitbucket, Rally, and STAT (preferred).
