Oracle EBS R12 Functional Consultant – Procurement- Remote
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Procurement (PO, AP, iProcurement, Sourcing) to support an assessment engagement for a defense client. The consultant will analyze current processes, identify gaps, and provide recommendations to optimize Oracle EBS procurement functionality and related business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct as-is assessments of Oracle EBS R12 Procurement modules, including PO, AP, iProcurement, Sourcing, and related integrations.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, understanding procurement processes and compliance needs.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in current procurement processes and propose functional improvements.
• Provide recommendations on best practices within Oracle EBS procurement modules aligned with client objectives.
• Support fit-gap analysis , documenting functional findings, business process workflows, and optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with technical teams for customizations, interfaces, and reporting needs .
• Assist in preparing proposals or roadmaps for future Oracle EBS upgrades or cloud adoption.
• Provide knowledge transfer to client teams to enhance understanding of procurement module capabilities and improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong experience in Oracle EBS R12 Procurement modules (PO, AP, iProcurement, Sourcing).
• Hands-on experience with defense or regulated industry processes is highly desirable.
• Expertise in business process analysis, gap analysis, and functional documentation .
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS integrations , reporting, approvals, and workflows in procurement.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills .
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing environment.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Procurement or modernization initiatives is a plus.
