Title: Oracle Cloud Security Consultant
Location: Remote
Length: 36 Months
An Oracle Cloud Security professional manages the security, compliance, and risk posture of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and SaaS environments. Key responsibilities include implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, vulnerability management, data encryption, and incident response to ensure secure,, resilient cloud systems.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Security Architecture & Design: Develop and implement secure OCI/SaaS architectures, including network firewalls, data redaction, and encryption, to safeguard sensitive data.
Identity & Access Management: Configure OCI IAM, user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) and federation.
Risk & Compliance: Enforce security policies (CIS, PCI, ISO) to ensure regulatory compliance and manage security posture to prevent configuration drift.
Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security events, remediate vulnerabilities, and respond to threats using SIEM tools and threat modeling.
Collaboration: Act as a security liaison between engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure "secure by default" product deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), SaaS apps (ERP, HCM, SCM), and cloud-native security tools.
Security Frameworks: Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and CIS benchmarks.
Certifications: Often requires or prefers Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security Associate/Professional certifications.
Experience: Usually 7–10+ years in IT security, cloud security engineering, or risk management.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $63.23 - $76.15 per hour
