About the position

The Information Security Officer (SISO) for Optum Health is responsible for executing and sustaining Optum Health's Security Program. This role involves leading efforts in vulnerability management, information security monitoring, cloud computing, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST requirements. The SISO will collaborate with various business units to enhance security awareness and mitigate risks associated with information security.

Responsibilities
Ā• Ensure compliance with Optum standards and policy as well as industry best practices and alignment with regulatory and contractual security requirements.

Ā• Provide analysis of and suggested solutions to complex Cyber Security issues.
,
Ā• Lead programs that minimize risk and ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.
,
Ā• Collaborate with leadership to promote information security awareness within the organization.
,
Ā• Provide expertise for the management and implementation of budgets, forecasts, and resource planning strategies.
,
Ā• Direct collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders to mitigate risks within the IT infrastructure.
,
Ā• Evaluate security trends, evolving threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.

Requirements
Ā• 5+ years of experience with demonstrated collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
,
Ā• 3+ years of experience with solid expertise in cloud security, platforms, and services.
,
Ā• 3+ years of experience in Information Security.
,
Ā• Experience identifying business needs and priorities into applicable IT solutions.
,
Ā• Proven solid communicator with ability to influence personnel at varying levels.
,
Ā• Proven highest ethical standards and sense of propriety.

Nice-to-haves
Ā• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.

Ā• Certifications such as CISM, OSCP, or CISSP.
,
Ā• Healthcare Industry experience.
