Location: worldwideYour responsibilities:Answer calls in a professional manner, acting according to the Interpreter's code of conduct.Be always prepared to take notes during a call.Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).Rendering all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting.Provide the highest level of customer service during interpretingFacilitate communication between Limited English Proficient and Clients by rendering accurate and complete interpretations of the message. Applying Standards of PracticeGo into internal professional training.Be eager to get new professional certifications.Communicate and report to your team leader.Comply with dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.Your background and experience:Fluent in the source language (English) and Native in the target language "Romanian".Awareness of medical terminologies.Awareness of legal terminologies is a plus.High school diploma in your native language.High emotional intelligence and tolerance of different cultures.High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.Technical requirements:As this position is fully remote, you should comply with several technical requirements for your computer. We need to be sure, that your home office will work effectively. 1- Windows Core I5 (4th generation) as a minimum for the Windows version2- Windows laptop or PC.3- Small headset and example attached above (Big headsets are not allowed)4- USB Camera5- Hard wired connection (Ethernet cable) – Not more than 10 meters and not older than 6 to 8 months - WIFI is not allowed6- Windows10 or above.7- RAM 8 GB or above as minimum.8- Wired headset with a built-in microphone with noise canceling (no wireless/Bluetooth headphones).Internet speed requirements:1. 20Mbps download, 10Mbps upload (Test to be done through speedtest.net) 2.
