Responsibilities
Operate all department inserters, mailing machines, and printers for production mail processing.

Accurately complete and maintain manual quality control logs for charge-back purposes.

Perform equipment setup and adjustments for each job to ensure proper processing.

Hand-match checks with statements and insert them into envelopes for all mail sets that default from the inserting machine process.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
,
Enforce building security procedures.
,
Monitor equipment performance and schedule or perform cleaning and maintenance.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.

2 years of experience working in a business or government agency.
,
Excellent organization with a high level of attention to detail.
,
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
,
Basic knowledge of postal regulations related to discount mail or ability to acquire it.
,
Ability to work efficiently as a member of a cohesive team.
,
Customer service skills.
,
Analytical or critical thinking skills.
,
Good judgment and ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.

Ability to move up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.

Ability to clear machine jams by bending, stooping, and reaching.

Ability to use a personal computer in a Windows operating environment, including Microsoft Word.
