A2SKI is seeking a reliable and skilled equipment Operator to join our team to support material handling for the Mine Water Treatment Plant. Responsibilities include transporting materials from the GMS warehouse to the Foran warehouse, verifying shipments against packing lists, safely unloading materials, and logging and organizing inventory in the laydown area. Additional tasks may be assigned by Foran supervision as needed to support other site activities.. This role requires the ability to work in cold, harsh, and remote conditions. Key Responsibilities: • Support material handling activities for the Mine Water Treatment Plant • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report deficiencies • Transport materials from the GMS warehouse to the Foran warehouse • Verify shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy • Work closely with site supervisors, labors, and other equipment operators • Safely unload materials using appropriate equipment • Log received materials and maintain organized inventory in the laydown area • Follow all site safety procedures and guidelines • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by Foran supervision to support site operations • Work effectively in cold, harsh, and remote conditions Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of construction and/or warehouse experience • Experience at a mine site or in construction is preferred • Loader and Telehandler certification is required • Proven experience operating a loader • SCOT and WHMIS Certification • Valid driver’s license and clean driver abstract • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment • Good communication and organizational skills • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a construction/ This is a special measure employment equity initiative, we encourage candidates from Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation and other Indigenous people (First Nations, Metis, or Inuit) to apply.
