Operations Project Manager - Part Time

CIMA seeks a part-time (15-20 hours per week) teammate to manage internal operations projects and processes. This position will play an integral role in developing and implementing internal processes and tools to support the success of a growing consulting firm. The Project Manager should be highly organized, detail oriented, and a great communicator who is able to collaborate effectively with a... wide variety of stakeholders.

Working closely with our Director of Operations, responsibilities include:
• Leading new projects to develop or improve existing internal processes that support staff and client success.
• Processes/systems that the Project Manager is responsible for developing/improving could include, but are not limited to: company policies, internal reference tools/resources, internal software tools, and many more.
• Executing existing internal processes to support the CIMA team on an ongoing basis.
• Processes that the Project Manager is responsible for executing could include, but are not limited to: hiring and employee onboarding; employee recognition; all-team meetings; internal files; and state compliance filings.
• Leading one or more internal committees and/or working groups.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven success in project management, administrative coordination, or a similar role
• Knowledge of a variety of project management principles and approaches, and a willingness to apply those tools flexibly and creatively to each unique project
• Impeccable follow-through and commitment to seeing projects through to completion
• Experience working in a remote environment and using standard office software/platforms and databases (Excel, Drive, Slack, Notion, etc)
• A demonstrated appreciation for or commitment to the nonprofit sector

This position is part-time with potential for transition to full-time pending company needs and fit at CIMA. Our team is primarily based in Charlottesville and surrounding areas, but we have a hybrid, flexible-work schedule. While our preference is for team members to be based in Charlottesville, qualified candidates wishing to work remotely will be considered.

Position Details: Part-time

Salary Range: $31-$36 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Benefits: 401K, Profit Share

Exemption Status: Exempt

Hybrid Work Available: Yes. Preference for candidates in or around central VA.
