Operations Manager-Line Support

We are seeking an Operations Manager-Line Support to support one of our premier customers. Responsible for directing the ongoing daily activities of the facility to ensure all operational functions are performed with the required levels of safety, quality, delivery and cost. Effectively manage all activities related to warehouse inventory management and product delivery to support manufacturing lines. Functions to include receiving, scanning, storing, picking, sorting, auditing, delivering product to lines, and other related support activities. Operations runs 24X7 executing activities mentioned above. Ensure compliance with all Kelly requirements including safety, quality, and budget targets. Primary onsite customer contact and decision maker.

How you'll support your team..
? Maintain a safe working environment while use of safety practices. Ensure facility compliance with OSHA and any other environmental/occupational guidelines
? Continually enforce and improve policies and procedures throughout the facility. Ensure smooth and accurate operation of the facility to eliminate/reduce discrepancies by recognizing weak areas and introducing solutions to strengthen those areas
? Provide leadership to site supervisors and leads in developing and implementing programs to comply with established requirements
? Ensure that a quality system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with International Standards
? Establish and maintain a CPI program that would include best practices on 5?s, lean initiatives, safety, and quality improvement initiatives
? Maintain a reporting system on the performance of all functional areas to be available to customer and KOCG management
? Provide customer and division with necessary productivity and performance reports
? Responsible for performance KPI's and operational financial results
? Comply with all divisional and corporate reports/requirements as required
? Represent customer and Kelly as meetings as requested
? Must be able to visit and monitor all 4 shifts
Does this sound like you?
? College degree or equivalent work experience
? 5 plus years manufacturing or distribution experience, 3-5 years managerial experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
? Extensive knowledge of quality and efficiency programs, i.e. ISO, Lean, Six Sigma
? Computerized inventory and material control experience required
? Must be able to work independently without direct management
? People management experience of groups of 50 or greater
