Our associates’ growth and development are shown in the long tenure of our team.Ferguson - Integrated Supply Division has a remote position open for an Operations Manager overseeing integrated services at customer sites located in the Northeast region. This position is remote (the associate must reside in the region), requiring frequent travel to multiple customer facilities in the industrial manufacturing sector located in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The role is primarily responsible for direct oversight of onsite teams and service levels that are providing daily procurement, onsite logistics and inventory management for MRO products.The Operations Manager is the main point of contact for each customer and works closely with various departments and partners through the facilities to drive cost savings and implement efficiencies for plant functions. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the components of supply management and logistics, including personnel, inventory, procurement and contract fulfillment.Build and maintain vendor relationships as well as customer relationshipsSourcing and procurement, reporting, cost reduction, and margin improvementReview and maintain inventory levelsFormulate and implement policies on processes to improve service, enhance the supply chain, and increase return on investmentMaintain the safety and security of the facility in accordance with OSHA standards and enforce all policies, rules, regulations and procedures set by the organizationMaintain documents according to record retention policyCompletes the analysis and identification of process gaps and continuous improvement opportunities, inspiring changes and lean improvements in operations.Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies and guidelines to the management teamRepresent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed Qualifications: Background in purchasing/procurement.Purchasing/Supply Chain Management certification preferredAbility to organize and prioritize workProven ability to follow documented proceduresAbility to effectively communicate in writing & verballyAbility to develop and deliver effective presentations to groupsProficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)A willingness to learn how to manage a businessAt Ferguson, we care for each other. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.-$4,124.70 - $11,275.00-Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.-This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.-Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
