About the role
Concept Plus seeks an Operations Group Manager for a Federal IT project. This role will lead a team supporting data center operations, including Unix, database, and security administration.
What you'll do
• Provide overall data center IT operations support for Government client.
• Responsible for leading a team to perform the following functions:
• * Computer Operations
• UNIX Systems Administration
• Configuration Management
• Enterprise Backup and Recovery Administration
• Database Administration & Development
• Database and UNIX Security Administration
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.
• 7 years of Project Management experience required.
• 7 years of experience managing multiple complex projects.
• 5 years of personnel management.
• Demonstrated hands on experience in Federal security management.
• Prefer demonstrated experience in as many of the following areas as possible:
• * Database and UNIX Security Administration
• UNIX Systems Administration
• Database Administration/Development
• Enterprise Backup and Recovery
• Configuration Management
• Computer Operations & Capital Planning
