Operational Excellence Leader

Role Summary:The Americas Operational Excellence Leader will take a regional & global leadership role in the development, implementation, and sustainability of the Flowserve Business System and the Operations Management System. In this role, you will act as strategist, coach, teacher, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of Operational Excellence (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). You will also be required to deploy to sites to lead site-level transformations, converting “push” operating models into pull systems.Responsibilities:Development, Implementation, and sustainment of the Operations Management SystemCreation of training curriculum to support Operational ExcellenceConduct Train-the-trainer classes & coachingSubject Matter Expertise in all fields of Operational ExcellenceSupport Flowserve Business System developmentSupport or lead front to back site transformation (push to pull)60% or more travelRequired Experience & Skills:English10+ years in an industrial/manufacturing environmentExperienced Lean practitioner (Kaizen, 6S, Daily Management, SMED, VSM)Bachelor’s or master’s degreeExperience in front to back site transformations (push to pull)Experience in Value Stream Mapping (current/future state)Experience in implementing and coaching (change management) on core elements of a Lean operations management system (Strategy Deployment, Daily Management & structured problem-solving)Operations leadership experience in non-CI roles.
