Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time contract opportunity in Indianapolis, IN. This is a school-based role for the 2024–2025 academic year. The psychologist will play a key role in supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral success through collaboration with educators, families, and support teams.
Position Details:
• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Schedule: Full-time, school hours
• Setting: K–12 (specific grade levels to be discussed during interview)
• Contract: 2024–2025 school year
• Renewal potential based on performance
Requirements:
• Active School Psychologist license in the state of Indiana
• Must meet all state and district requirements for school-based psychological services
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience supporting special education students and families highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, MTSS/RTI, and behavioral intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations
• Assist in determining special education eligibility and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement interventions for academic, social, and emotional concerns
• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention
• Analyze assessment data and contribute to data-driven decisions
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to improve student outcomes
• Support school-wide mental health initiatives and behavioral supports
