A successful candidate will be required to commit to scheduled travel well ahead of time. The contractor role will be trained and certified to be responsible for printers, phones, networking equipment, and logistical support while traveling onsite to RainFocus events.Continuous evaluation will occur, mentorship and training will be provided, and expectations are that the ability to support different applications and hardware independently will be quickly reached. A successful contractor will quickly become reliable and knowledgeable. Contractors are paid a daily rate. Greater responsibilities will be given and pay can increase with increased experience and positive evaluations.RainFocus is driven to find the candidates who will learn and grow in the roles to achieve expert status and are able to lead onsite solutions and teams to success. Essential Responsibilities: Ability to travel to events anywhere in the country or worldValid Passport requiredCompliance with all RainFocus travel policies/expectationsCompliance with all domestic and international travel requirements, as dictated by countryCompliance with all customer travel and attendee requirements, as dictated by the customerExpect to work long hours every day while onsiteProvide availability for event coverage and follow through on scheduled eventsSet-up RainFocus software on Windows machinesUnderstand and troubleshoot basic networkingSet up and troubleshoot Inkjet PrintersTroubleshoot Android and Apple phones Required Skills/Experience: Experience working on and with computer software and hardwareAble to navigate and configure computer softwareComfortable navigating printer setup and troubleshooting practicesKnowledge of basic networking/wifi a strong plusFamiliar with the management of cell phone software configuration and troubleshootingEasily and frequently type clear and concise fact based communications about status of deployments, inventory updates, event summary, etc. Personal Characteristics: The best candidates for this position trust others, face challenges with optimism, and constantly drive innovation.
