Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver high-quality course materials that align with DeVry University's syllabus template and terminal course objectives. Utilize a range of technological tools, including online discussions, email, and course-related software, to create an engaging and interactive learning environment. Model effective oral and written communication skills that promote clarity, engagement, and student learning. Set clear expectations for the course, including publishing terminal objectives, assignment/examination dates, and the distribution of evaluation categories. Ensure that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives, and provide timely and constructive feedback to students. Demonstrate consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams. Complete other duties as assigned by the university. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you must possess a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the subject being taught for undergraduate teaching, or a relevant master's degree such as MSME, MSEE, MSSE, or MSCS. Your background in Machine Learning/AE is essential, and your credentials must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Administration. In addition to the required qualifications, we are looking for individuals with: Requisite subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills. Excellent motivational and instructional skills, with the ability to facilitate diverse groups in a non-traditional environment. A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with others. What We Offer As an Online Visiting Professor for Machine Learning at DeVry University, you can expect a competitive compensation package that includes: A pay rate of $1500-$2600 per 8-week session, or an hourly rate of $20.00/hour or $21.50/hour in certain states.
