Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
ā¢ Conduct virtual lessons and assessments, ensuring that all students receive the necessary support to thrive
ā¢ Collaborate with families, school staff, and other professionals to track student progress and make adjustments as needed
ā¢ Provide a positive and encouraging virtual classroom experience, utilizing diverse teaching strategies to engage students
ā¢ Stay informed about advancements in educational tools and resources for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
ā¢ Valid certification in Deaf Education or equivalent
ā¢ Experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, preferably in an elementary setting
ā¢ Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively in a virtual format
ā¢ Proficient with technology and comfortable using digital platforms for teaching
