Key Responsibilities
Design Tailored Learning Plans: Develop and implement individualized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
Lead Engaging Online Sessions: Facilitate both group classes and one-on-one sessions using interactive virtual learning platforms.
Customize Curriculum Materials: Adapt and modify curriculum resources to ensure they align with each students learning goals.
Assess and Interpret Progress: Administer educational assessments online and analyze results to guide instructional strategies.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with families, teachers, and support staff to create a holistic approach to student achievement.
Track Student Progress: Maintain accurate records of student development, interventions, and outcomes.
Participate in IEP Meetings: Attend virtual IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and plan future steps.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Special Education.
Valid state teaching license with a special education endorsement.
At least 3 years of experience in special education, preferably in an online environment.
Proficiency with assistive technology and digital learning tools.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to inspire and engage students in a virtual classroom.
Flexible and adaptable to the diverse needs of students.
