Online School Audiologist - New Mexico
A contract position is available for a licensed Audiologist specializing in telehealth services within a school environment in Las Cruces, NM. This role supports students through direct therapy, case management, and collaboration on Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Providing approximately 8 hours per month of direct therapy to students requiring audiological support
ā¢ Conducting case management duties to ensure proper documentation and student progress tracking
ā¢ Participating in paperwork preparation and compliance related to student services and regulations
ā¢ Attending and contributing to IEP meetings to support student accommodations and intervention planning via telehealth platforms
Qualifications and experience:
ā¢ Current New Mexico state certification as an Audiologist is required
ā¢ Experience in delivering audiology services in a school setting strongly preferred
ā¢ Proficiency with telehealth technology and remote service delivery
ā¢ Excellent organizational skills for managing case files and reporting requirements
ā¢ Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
