Job Summary: The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Online Medical Transcriptionist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting audio recordings from healthcare professionals into accurate written medical records. This position is perfect for someone who thrives working independently during evening and late-night hours and has a passion for maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: • * Listen to and transcribe dictated recordings from medical professionals with precision and clarity. • * Review and edit drafts prepared by speech recognition software, ensuring accuracy and consistency. • * Identify and correct inconsistencies, errors, and missing information in medical documents. • * Ensure all transcriptions meet industry standards for formatting, medical terminology, and legal requirements. • * Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and HIPAA regulations at all times. • * Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to clarify dictations when needed. • * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terms, procedures, and documentation standards. • * Meet established deadlines and productivity targets consistently. • Required Skills and Qualifications: • * Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. • * Exceptional listening skills with the ability to transcribe complex medical terminology accurately. • * High attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • * Proficiency in medical transcription software and Microsoft Office Suite. • * Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations. • Experience: • * Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical transcriptionist or in a related healthcare documentation role. • * Prior experience working remotely is a plus. • * Familiarity with various medical specialties (e.g., radiology, pathology, surgery, cardiology) preferred. • Working Hours: • * Evening and Late Night Shifts: Monday to Friday, flexible start time between 5:00 PM and 12:00 AM (midnight) depending on availability.
