Online Math Tutor - Remote - Contract to Hire

We are a fast-growing tutoring company based in Quebec, Canada. We help primary, secondary and CEGEP students improve their math results through structured, personalized online support.

We are currently looking for a strong math tutor to join our team.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a tutor who:

• Has strong skills in mathematics (Primary / Secondary level – Quebec curriculum knowledge is a big plus)

• Holds a degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Education or related field (major asset)

• Is comfortable teaching:

• Algebra

• Functions

• Calculus

• Problem solving

• Can clearly explain concepts in a simple, structured way

• Speaks fluent French (English is an asset)

Availability Requirements

• Must be available during Quebec hours (Eastern Time – EST)

• Mainly evenings (3PM–9PM EST) and/or weekends

• Reliable schedule is very important

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions

• Use our interactive platform with screen sharing and digital whiteboard

• Prepare structured sessions based on student needs

• Track student progress

• Provide brief follow-ups to parents when required

• Maintain a professional and motivating approach

Ideal Candidate

• Patient, structured and results-oriented

• Comfortable speaking with parents

• Professional camera presence

• Stable internet connection

• Experience in online tutoring is a strong advantage

Compensation
