Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Online Instructor - Physical Science to join our Division of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. About the Role:
Teach online courses in Physical Science, including chemistry, climatology, earth science, geology, geophysics, hydrology, petrology, physics, meteorology, and oceanography
Develop and deliver engaging course materials, assignments, and assessments
Support student learning outcomes and success in a dynamic online environment
Collaborate with colleagues and department staff to achieve institutional goals
Maintain current knowledge and expertise in your teaching discipline
Requirements:
Master's degree in a physical science (i.e., chemistry, climatology, earth science, geology, geophysics, hydrology, petrology, physics, meteorology, oceanography) or a master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in a physical science or applied physical science (i.e., engineering)
Certifications in online teaching are highly preferred
Previous online teaching experience is preferred
