Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Online Instructor - Film to join our Division of Liberal Arts team. This part-time position offers the opportunity to teach online courses in film and contribute to the academic excellence of our institution.
About the Role:
Teach online courses in film as assigned, including day, night, and weekend classes
Support the institution's mission and vision, and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies
Maintain currency in your teaching discipline
Report directly to the Fine Arts and Communication Department Chair
Requirements:
Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) or master's degree in film or related field
Or master's degree in any discipline with 18 graduate semester hours in film or a related field
Or master's degree and professional certification and/or documented work experience in the film industry
Certifications in online teaching are preferred
Previous online teaching experience is preferred
