Online High School Physics Tutor
We are looking for a passionate, experienced tutor who has a strong background in Physics and can tutor high school students in Grade 11-Grade 12. Candidates should be familiar with the Ontario high school Physics curriculum. Being able to tutor other high school subjects such as Math, Chemistry, etc. is a bonus but not necessary. This position will be completely remote and all tutoring will be done online. Applicants should be currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in a related field study OR your BEd.

Your Role:
Provide online Physics tutoring sessions through our online learning video platform to high-school students in OntarioObserve and evaluate a student's skill level to determine progress and work towards improvement with the help of our tutoring programWork alongside parents/guardians to create a personal academic plan or timeline for the studentHelp students in their area of need such as homework completion, getting ahead in class, learning new concepts, etc.Be able to relate to the students and act as a mentor to them
Requirements:
Fluent in EnglishCurrently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's Degree in your field of study or a B.EdPrior tutoring or teaching experience in Ontario is requiredGood knowledge of the Ontario math curriculumHave access to a computer with a webcam and a stable internet connectionBe available during some weeknights (past 4 PM) and weekends
Ability to tutor other subjects (i.e. Math, Chemistry) is a bonus!
Tutoring SessionsTutors can create their own schedules based on client preference and personal preference. Tutors can accept and decline tutoring opportunities but should be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.
