Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. This role requires a strong commitment to student success, innovative teaching methods, and the ability to adapt to various learning styles. The Educator will work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and families to ensure that each student reaches their full potential.

Duties
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the needs of all students.
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and enhance learning experiences.
• Provide individualized support through tutoring and coaching for students requiring additional assistance.
• Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques.
• Collaborate with fellow educators in teacher coaching initiatives to improve instructional practices.
• Incorporate learning technology into lessons to engage students and facilitate interactive learning.
• Design instructional materials that are accessible for students with disabilities, including those who are deaf or visually impaired.
• Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.

Qualifications
• Experience working with students in diverse educational settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with deaf education or visually impaired education is a plus.
• Proficiency in instructional design principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of classroom management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students effectively.
• A commitment to continuous professional development in education-related fields.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $10.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

• Evenings as needed
