Online Excellence Teaching Academy (OETA) Project Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Online Excellence Teaching Academy (OETA) Project Coordinator to join our team at Bellevue College. As a key member of the eLearning department, you will be responsible for managing the tracking, coordination, and payment of workshops in the Online Excellence Teaching Academy (OETA). This is a temporary position with funding for one year, and we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting faculty and students in an online learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage scheduling, tracking, communication, and data of OETA trainings
Guide faculty in understanding and meeting OETA training requirements
Maintain tracking databases with necessary personnel data
Build reports and graphs to display information relevant to completion of tasks
Coordinate room reservations or online Zoom sessions for upcoming training sessions
Serve as the main point of contact for the OETA project
Provide consultation and support to faculty and staff
Assist with system administration for eLearning platforms
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field
1 year of experience working with Canvas or another LMS system
1 year of large-scale project management experience with at least 500 users
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with databases and create visual aids
Effective problem-solving and organizational skills
Experience working with diverse colleagues and/or students in a collaborative and inclusive environment
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of Learning Management System Administration experience
Demonstrated knowledge of all modalities of learning and how to make online learning accessible
Effective skills in researching and analyzing eLearning programs
