Online Cyber Network Security Academic Support Specialist
We are seeking professionals with the experience and knowledge to help transform the lives of our students. This would be an ideal position for an entry-level IT professional with a passion to support students in the form of coaching, tutoring and/or mentoring.

Responsibilities
? Works with students to develop their academic skills both in general and in the online classroom environment.
? Provides assistance with study skills such as reading, note-taking, organization, and time management coaching, tutoring, mentoring and academic technology support
? Work Hours - Afternoons/Evenings and one Weekend day
? Reliable high-speed internet required
? Required to tutor live in Zoom
Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a regionally accredited institution.
Experience:
? 1-2 years work experience within the past 5 years required
? Coursework in Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing preferred
Required Skills:
? Knowledge of the OSI and TCP/IP Models
? Knowledge of Network and Server Administration
? Experience supporting distance learning students in higher education or other setting
? Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment
? Ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
? Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of both current practices and emerging trends in distance learning and related technologies
? Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
? Orientation toward results
