Job Summary
Progressive Technology is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Online Computer Typist. This is a work-from-home opportunity where you will be responsible for inputting and processing data, transcribing information, and performing various typing tasks. Key Responsibilities


Input and transcribe data into computer systems accurately and efficiently.


Perform data entry tasks with a high level of attention to detail.


Review and proofread typed materials to ensure accuracy and completeness.


Handle various typing projects and complete them within deadlines.


Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure data security.


Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to clarify tasks and expectations.


Assist with other administrative duties as needed, including email correspondence and document formatting.


Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a remote work environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications


Proven experience in typing, data entry, or administrative support roles.


Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.


Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.


Familiarity with word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).


Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.


Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Reliable internet connection and access to a personal computer.


Must be able to follow instructions and work within specified guidelines.


High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in typing or data entry preferred.


Experience


A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a typing or data entry position.


Previous remote work experience is a plus, but not required.


Experience with transcription or document formatting is a plus.


Working Hours


Flexible working hours, with the option to set your own schedule.


Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20-30 hours per week.
