Role Description
This is a contract remote role for an Online 7-12 Math Tutor - NYS Certified Math Teachers. The role involves conducting online math tutoring sessions, providing homework help, improving numeracy skills, extending on classroom concepts, and preparing students for standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and Regents exam.
Qualifications
- Experience in Online Teaching and Tutoring
- Strong Communication skills
- Possession of a New York State Teaching Certification [MANDATORY]
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Experience with standardized test preparation is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field
