About the position
Capstone Logistics is seeking an Independent Contractor Courier to join our team in New Haven, CT. This part-time position involves picking up and delivering medical and lab specimens to various locations within the city and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have their own vehicle (2013 or newer) and be comfortable driving in different or long-distance areas. The role requires availability during specific hours, with shifts available from Monday to Friday, including 2pm to 6pm, 3pm to 7pm, and 5pm to 9pm. It is essential that the courier is able to work every day during the agreed-upon hours, as reliability is crucial for this position. As an Independent Contractor, you will operate your own delivery vehicle and must meet specific vehicle requirements, including being listed on your vehicle insurance. A valid driver's license, current insurance, and a clean motor vehicle report are mandatory. Additionally, candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a smartphone for navigation and communication purposes. Vaccinations are a requirement for this position to ensure the safety of all parties involved.
