On-Call Banquet Server
About the position
The On-Call Banquet Server at Omni Corpus Christi Hotel is responsible for ensuring timely and professional food and beverage service during various functions in the banquet department. This role requires a commitment to upholding the hotel's high service standards while attending to guests' needs and maintaining the organization of banquet operations.
Responsibilities
Ā Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain and/or Banquet Managers.

Ā Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
,
Ā Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.
,
Ā Report to the Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of banquet equipment.
,
Ā Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws.
,
Ā Familiarize and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
,
Ā Attend all designated pre-meal meetings.
,
Ā Follow all details as described on Banquet Event Orders (BEO's).
,
Ā Set tables to specifications, carry trays, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
Ā Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
,
Ā Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for the duration of a full-shift.
,
Ā Must have current Food Handler and TABC certifications and the ability to keep them up to date.
,
Ā Previous serving experience in a four-star/four-diamond hotel or resort.
,
Ā Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers.
