Offshore -Power BI Developer- Mid-Level
Location: Offshore (Remote) Experience: 2-4 years Engagement Type: Full-Time About the Role: Smartbridge is looking for a Power BI Developer to develop interactive dashboards and reports that enable business intelligence and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience working with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL. Responsibilities: • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. • Create DAX measures and Power Query transformations for optimized data modeling. • Perform ETL operations using SQL, Power Query, and data connectors. • Implement row-level security (RLS) and other data security measures. • Collaborate with business users to define KPIs and reporting requirements. Technical Skills Required: • Power BI Desktop & Service (Dashboard & Report development). • DAX & Power Query (M Language). • SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or other relational databases for ETL. • Data modeling (star schema, performance optimization in Power BI). • Experience with Power Automate integration (preferred). • Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus. Additional Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. • Microsoft Power BI certification preferred. • Experience in Oil & Gas, Healthcare, or Food & Beverage is a plus. • 100% remote role – must be available for the second shift to overlap with the US team until Noon CST. • 6-month probation period before full-time confirmation. If certification is not already held, it must be completed during probation.
