Since 2020, we’ve supported 4,000 farmers, covering 800,000 hectares (5% of Germany’s farmland!) and we are now the number 1 provider for Scope 3 solutions in Europe!If you’re passionate about building a sustainable food system and driving real climate impact, join us and help create a healthier planet!Your mission:As our Office & People Admin Intern, you'll play a key role in keeping our Berlin office running smoothly and supporting our People team with essential administrative and organisational tasks. Whether it’s helping set up a friendly and well-equipped workspace, assisting with onboarding, or jumping in on cultural events, you'll help make sure every team member, on-site and remote, feels supported and welcome.You’ll be joining our People Team and will work closely with our Senior Workplace Experience Partner, learning directly from an experienced mentor in a fast-moving startup environment.This internship is a great fit for someone who enjoys being organised, proactive, and people-focused—and wants to see the real impact of their work on a growing international team.We offer a 6 month internship with the potential for extension or further opportunities as we grow.Your responsibilities:Office ManagementHelp ensure our Prenzlauer Berg office stays welcoming, well-stocked, and organised.Be a go-to person for day-to-day office needs - from supplies and space setup to greeting visitors.Assist with setting up new joiners, including hardware, systems access, and desk prep.Coordinate with IT and Ops to help ensure smooth onboarding.Support event planning - from team lunches to all-hands and cultural gatherings.People AdministrationAssist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including document prep and systems checklists.Help maintain employee data, prepare contracts, and support payroll and benefits coordination.Work with tools like Personio, Notion and Slack to help keep our People Operations running efficiently.Contribute to improving policies and templates that shape the employee experience.Your profile:Availability: We’re ideally seeking someone who can start at short notice; early availability will be prioritised.Location: You’re based in Berlin and able to work from the office at least three days per week.Languages: You communicate clearly and confidently in both English and German (minimum B1), across in-person, written, and virtual settings.Clear communicator & proactive: You take initiative and keep things moving in fast-paced environments.Problem solver: You approach challenges with structure and creativity.Impact-driven: You prioritise what matters most.Detail-oriented & systems thinker: You see the big picture without missing the small stuff.People-focused: You care about creating great employee experiences and building trust.Organised multitasker: You manage tasks and priorities with ease and precision.Any past experience in office coordination, HR tasks, or team support, especially in a startup or dynamic environment, is a plus, but not required.You’re tech-friendly and open to learning new tools quickly.Why This Internship?Learn by doing in a supportive, startup environment.Work on real challenges that impact employee happiness and daily operations.Gain insights into People & Workplace roles, and build experience across HR, culture, and office coordination.Contribute to something bigger: We’re working on climate-positive agriculture and fair conditions for farmers.Enjoy a flexible work model (hybrid), with regular in-person team interactions in Berlin.Be part of a friendly, international team that values impact, ownership, and collaboration.Your benefits:Opportunity: Be part of our journey from the very beginning, working on an equal footing with the leadership team to build a new company.Impact: Make a daily and active contribution to combating climate change, promoting consumer education, and fostering fair conditions for our climate-conscious farmers.Autonomy: Take ownership of your projects and enjoy a high degree of creative freedom.Flexible work model: At Klim, we foster a flexible, hybrid work approach and facilitate remote work (within the EU).
