Of Counsel / Independent Contractor Attorney - Fully Remote - Colorado Bar License Required
Cantley Law Firm is a small but growing litigation practice, primarily focused on construction and real estate disputes. The firm has an excess workload and is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to assist on a part-time basis. The role may include helping with most stages of the litigation process, including case analysis, demand letters, the CDARA process, drafting complaints, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents, and taking or defending depositions. However, the position may be fully remote, so trials or other in-person court appearances are not required. This position offers flexibility regarding location, when hours are worked, and how many hours are worked, making it great for parents, the semi-retired, or anyone else who only seeks a part-time commitment. Prior litigation experience and a Colorado bar license are required. Experience in construction law, real estate broker liability, nondisclosure, HOA disputes, or other real estate practice areas is a plus but not required.
