In this role you will be responsible for:
? Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the Med Surg Tele Unit
? Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
? Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
? Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
? Answers phones and call lights
? Ensures unit is stocked with supplies
? Assists patient transporter as needed
? Other duties as assigned
Shifts: NightShift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Qualifications
Experience:
2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)
Certifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
Current BCLS certification, required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Basic computer knowledge
