Nurse Practitioner On Call Remote

Essential Functions : Key Responsibilities Provide timely response to patient calls, telehealth consults, or facility requests during on-call hours. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions as needed. Document all encounters and communications accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Support emergency response and facilitate patient transfers or hospitalizations when clinically indicated. Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing and ancillary staff during on-call shifts. Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including HIPAA and infection control protocols. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to ensure clinical competence Experience and Education: NP Degree from a College or University and two years related experience and/or training.
