Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and managing classroom activities.
Provide one-on-one or small-group academic support to students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Support students with special needs or individualized learning plans (IEPs).
Monitor and assist with classroom behavior management.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with the teaching team.
Participate in professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
Must hold an active Paraprofessional Certification in Illinois.
Previous experience working with K-12 students is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Passion for supporting student growth and success.
