Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for an experienced School Social Worker to join a reputable school district in the Goodrich, MI area. This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives while working with a supportive team of professionals.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Valid State of Michigan School Social Worker License (310 Approval)
• Prior school-based experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting clearance
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct counseling and support services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized plans
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Conduct student assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Advocate for students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development
• Support IEP/504 plan implementation as needed
