Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our remote team. In this role, you will work with students with diverse learning needs, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing support to ensure their academic success.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each students unique needs.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to track student progress.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
Utilize various teaching strategies and technologies to engage students.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Provide guidance and support to students in developing social and life skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Washington teaching license in Special Education.
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Compensation:
Hourly pay, with weekly payments.
