About the position Truck Driver Nation is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Freight Dispatchers. We accept both entry-level/inexperienced candidates and experienced dispatchers. As a dispatcher, you will coordinate shipments, communicate with drivers and carriers, and ensure freight moves efficiently across the country. Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate freight loads for owner-operators and carriers • Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries • Track shipments and provide clients with real-time updates • Problem-solve delays or issues that arise during transport • Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries Requirements • Strong communication skills • Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, dispatching software) • Ability to multitask and manage multiple loads simultaneously • Organizational skills and attention to detail • Willingness to learn the freight dispatch process (for entry-level candidates) Nice-to-haves • Prior freight dispatch experience or trucking industry knowledge • Familiarity with ELD systems and load boards • Negotiation and rate confirmation with carriers and brokers • Ability to mentor entry-level dispatchers Benefits • Flexible schedule and remote work options • Opportunity to advance your career and increase earnings • Supportive team environment with training for new dispatchers Apply tot his job
