We’re looking for a dynamic and adaptable Accountant to join our team and support small nonprofit organizations. This role is crucial in assisting organizations that are dedicated to serving their local communities. Compensation and Benefits
• Competitive salary: (60,000 - )75,000

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Controller and CFO to deliver exceptional accounting services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Maintain a chart of accounts for accurate financials.
• Record cash receipts and make bank deposits.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Prepare client invoices and manage accounts receivable.
• Execute month-end closing entries.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and other requested schedules.
• Manage the annual budget, track variances, and report significant issues.
• Process client payroll and ensure accurate ledger entries.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop/Online or willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with nonprofit accounting or a strong interest in learning.
