The Role! The Director, Business Development, is a seasoned sales executive responsible for driving net-new revenue growth across nimbleβs ASC, surgical practice, and anesthesia markets. This role owns strategic prospecting, enterprise sales execution, and complex deal negotiation, while collaborating cross-functionally to align marketing, operations, and client success efforts.This is not a transactional sales role. We are seeking a disciplined, consultative seller who understands healthcare revenue cycle complexity and can confidently engage C-suite administrators, physician-owners, private equity groups, and health system leaders.The Director will be accountable for pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, revenue performance, and market expansion. Additionally, the territory covered will be the Northeastern U.S., with the right candidate residing in that geographical region. What You'll Be Doing! Revenue Growth & Pipeline LeadershipOwn and execute strategic territory and vertical growth plansDevelop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified ASC and surgical prospectsDrive full-cycle sales from prospecting through contract executionAchieve and exceed annual bookings and revenue targetsMaintain accurate forecasting and reporting within SalesforceEnterprise Sales ExecutionLead consultative discovery with ASC administrators, CFOs, CEOs, physician partners, and private equity stakeholdersIdentify revenue leakage, operational inefficiencies, and RCM optimization opportunitiesPresent tailored solutions aligned to client's financial and operational goalsNavigate complex buying committees and multi-stakeholder sales cyclesNegotiate contracts and commercial terms to drive mutually beneficial outcomesMarket Expansion & Thought LeadershipRepresent nimble at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking eventsDevelop strategic relationships with industry consultants, associations, and referral partnersConduct market research to identify expansion opportunities and emerging industry trendsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with marketing to align demand generation strategiesProvide voice-of-customer feedback to operations and product teamsEnsure seamless handoff to implementation and client success teams
Requirements
7+ years of progressive healthcare sales experience (ASC, surgical practice, anesthesia, or RCM strongly preferred)Demonstrated success selling complex services with multi-month sales cyclesProven track record of exceeding revenue targetsExperience engaging executive-level stakeholdersStrong financial acumen and ability to discuss revenue performance metrics (clean claim rate, denial rate, cost to collect, AR days, etc.)Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft TeamsWillingness to travel approximately 25β40% Location: Northeastern United StatesKey CompetenciesStrategic Revenue DriverTranslates market opportunity into executable growth strategy.
