Flexible full-time or part-time hours
1099 contract with renewal opportunities
Customizable caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Perform virtual assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to each students specific needs and learning objectives.
Deliver direct instruction and support through our online platform, ensuring student engagement and progress.
Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a unified educational experience for students.
Maintain detailed records and documentation of student progress, services provided, and communications.
Qualifications:
Masters degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
At least 2 years of experience as a Special Educator.
Proficiency in utilizing technology for virtual instruction and assessments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong connections in a virtual setting.
A dedicated approach to delivering high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.
