Job Description:
The High School English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English language arts instruction to students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will inspire students to appreciate literature, develop strong writing skills, and enhance their communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum aligned with state standards.
Create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to diverse learning needs.
Assess student performance through a variety of assignments, projects, and exams.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
Guide students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills through literature and writing.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and student achievement.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Valid Georgia teaching certification in Secondary Education (English).
Strong knowledge of literature, writing, and language arts curriculum.
Prior teaching experience at the high school level is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
