THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a Network Technician to join our team at our main site in Decatur. The successful candidate will become a subject matter expert for Versa networking equipment and will be responsible for configuring switches, Juniper, and Cisco devices. Additionally, the Junior Network Engineer will be responsible for racking, troubleshooting, and replacing network devices as needed. Key responsibilities: Work with AMS provider for level 1 & 2 issues Configure switches, Juniper, and Cisco devices Rack network devices as needed Troubleshoot network issues and provide solutions Replace network devices as necessary Become a subject matter expert for Versa networking equipment Travel to various locations around 40% of the time ABOUT YOU Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 1+ years of experience in network engineering or related field Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies Experience with configuring switches, Juniper, and Cisco devices Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to travel around 40% of the time ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Rewards & benefits Competitive salary / 401 K matching and non-contingent matching plans / Healthcare / Medical insurance Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging We are passionate believers in the power of difference.
