Our client is currently seeking a Network Security Ops Engineer – 3rd Shift

Job Description

As a Network Security Ops Engineer, you will design and engineer secure solutions aligned with the Cybersecurity engineering roadmap. You will support the delivery of highly complex secure systems, cyber applications, technical initiatives, and regulatory and risk requirements.

In a fast‑paced, high‑velocity environment, you will collaborate across teams to facilitate process engineering, remediate risk, and mitigate operational vulnerabilities. Your work will help build resilient, next‑generation systems that solve business challenges, strengthen the control environment, and ensure compliance with security, legal, and regulatory standards.

You will actively manage and escalate risks and customer‑impacting issues in day‑to‑day operations, ensuring visibility and alignment with leadership.

What You’ll Do
• Engineer solutions aligned with the Cybersecurity Engineering Roadmap and overall enterprise security strategy
• Maintain and improve processes supporting the delivery of complex secure systems, cyber platforms, and technical projects
• Facilitate process engineering, risk remediation, and mitigation of operational risks in a high‑velocity environment
• Collaborate across teams to define technology requirements, deliverables, system designs, and identify gaps
• Analyze cyber technologies, metrics models, and performance indicators to assess effectiveness
• Identify robust security solutions and help build resilient, next‑generation systems that enhance the control environment
• Proactively manage and escalate risk and customer‑impacting issues to management

How You’ll Do It
• Analyze, design, and develop security solutions in collaboration with Cybersecurity Architects to ensure alignment with corporate technology goals and risk tolerance
• Design and engineer solutions consistent with the enterprise Cybersecurity Strategy
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for supported security technologies and lead technical escalations
• Validate current‑state and future‑state architectural models to assess system impacts
• Oversee security requirements and technical specifications to guide successful project execution
• Provide direction and guidance to infrastructure, operations, data, and application development teams during implementation and transition to production
• Manage relationships with security vendors and partners
• Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership, peers, project managers, and internal stakeholders
• Stay current with next‑generation security designs, industry trends, threats, and attack techniques
• Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and legal requirements

Qualifications You’ll Need

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
• * Computer Science
• Engineering
• Informatics
• Information Security
• Information Technology
• 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
• * Information Security
• Application Security
• Security Engineering
• Related cybersecurity disciplines
